The “Hidden” Scoring Factor: Date of Birth

Most parents do not know this: The OLSAT does not compare your child to every other 4th grader. It compares them only to children born within the same 3-month window.

๐Ÿ“‰ The SAI (School Ability Index)

The score is normalized by age. If two students answer 60 questions correctly:

  • Student A (Born in Jan): Might get an SAI of 120.
  • Student B (Born in Nov): Might get an SAI of 128.

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ The 3-Month Bands

Scoring tables are broken into specific bands (e.g., Aug-Oct, Nov-Jan). This ensures fair comparison.

Wizdomi Advantage: We calculate your child’s precise target score based on their birth month.
